YOU'VE GOT TO BE ON FIRE

TO INSPIRE

TOF-logo

Teachers on Fire provides a yeshiva-learning based program for Torah studies teachers in the Los Angeles community, reigniting teachers’ passion to create a more inspired classroom environment for their students.

We all want our students to be taught by inspiring Rebbeim who are passionate about what they do, and not stressed about providing for their families.

OUR SCHEDULE

The program started its sixth year this fall with 15 local Rebbeim from YULA, Maimonides, Yavneh, Hillel and Ohr Eliyahu, who are learning with each other at least 3 nights a week, hearing weekly shiurim from the esteemed Rabbi Daniel Danishefsky, and taking exams on their learning. The participants (and their students) are greatly benefitting.

The Teachers On Fire Kollel is a true gift to the Pico community. The Kollel has given me the opportunity to spend hundreds of hours inside the walls of the Beis Medrash together with gifted Mechanchim from many schools. The opportunity for us to connect through the Torah is something so special. As we each enter our different schools in the morning, we take with us the fire of Torah gained from our Torah learning in the Kollel.

Being part of Teachers On Fire completely transforms my day.

It gives me the opportunity to engross myself in learning for the sake of learning and brings me back to my days in the Bais Midrash.

I feel so lucky to be part of Teachers on Fire! Having a set schedule of learning and studying the Mesechta with teachers just like me is very helpful not only for my personal growth in Torah but in education too. Being able to share ideas and collaborate with other teachers is priceless. Tuesday nights are a highlight for me as I really enjoy the Shiurim given by Rabbi Danishefsky and Rabbi Adler. I feel very accomplished to be a part.
